Our team takes care of every detail, from pre-wire support and inspections to hands-on system installation, programming, and final client handover. We work closely with your builder and trades throughout construction, ensuring every element of your smart home system is installed correctly, tested thoroughly, and commissioned to perform perfectly from day one.

A process built for builders

Once the system design is approved, our installation process kicks off with a detailed rollout plan. We provide documentation to your builder, electrician, and architect and then stay closely involved throughout the rough-in and fit-out stages of the build. You’ll see us on site, at meetings, and on call to support your trades with everything they need for smooth implementation.

Our installation & commissioning process

Documentation handover

We provide all relevant plans, schematics, and design documentation to your build team. This ensures the electrician and builder have clear, up-to-date instructions to work from.

Rough-in support

We remain actively involved throughout the rough-in stage, attending site meetings, answering questions, and supporting your electrician during cable runs and infrastructure setup. We’re there to hold their hand through the smart home-specific elements that require extra attention.

Pre-sheet inspection

Before walls are closed up, we conduct a full inspection to verify that all wiring has been installed as per plan. We check cable types, lengths, termination points, and placement, ensuring everything is ready for fit-out and future performance.

Fit-off installation

Once the home is ready for device installation, our technicians return to site to install all smart components. From touch panels and lighting keypads to speakers, cameras, and network hardware, we take care of the full fit-out.

System commissioning

After installation, we begin the commissioning process. This includes connecting all systems, updating firmware, programming the logic and scenes, calibrating performance, and testing user interfaces across devices.

Handover & customisation

We work directly with the client to fine-tune the system to their lifestyle. From interface customisation to setting up routines, preferences, and automation scenes, we make sure the system works exactly as they envisioned.

Post-move adjustments

After the client moves in, we offer an additional fine-tuning phase. As they live with the system and experience how it fits their daily routine, we make final adjustments to ensure everything feels intuitive and effortless.

Final documentation & as-built records

Once the system is fully installed, tested, and customised, we deliver comprehensive “as-built” documentation. This includes system layouts, device lists, network settings, and integration notes, a valuable resource for future support or upgrades.
